Those Apple folks sure know what design means. Just look at the new iPhone - it's immediately desirable.

A completely touch screen device (multi-touch too, so you might be able to do stuff like this). "Slide to unlock". Genius.

The backlash has already started though. It's very expensive. It's tied to one service provider. Michael Gartenburg has more reasons. Engadget pointed out more, picking up on the closed system. It feels really odd to sync your phone through iTunes (but then, it is an iPod, too). Is it really running OSX or is it a Windows Mobile like version of OSX?

But who cares? It's lovely.

Perhaps my favourite picture, though is this one:

"Works like magic". "Patented!". Only Apple could get away with bullet points like those.
